Installation & Use
Step 1 - Place the BuzzCap on your 4x4 or 5x5 Vinyl Post
Each BuzzCap comes with a 4” adapter. To install on a 4X4 post, first remove any existing post cap and set aside. The BuzzCap will easily sit on the 4X4 cap. If you plan to leave the BuzzCap permanently, you may want to use some PVC glue.
For 5x5 vinyl posts, remove the 4" adapter. The BuzzCap has internal channels that will pop into place inside the 5x5 vinyl post holding it securely in place. Be sure to insert the BuzzCap at an angle and then snap the other side into place. It will most likely not insert straight down due to its snap in place design.
Step 2- Remove the torch canister and unscrew top
To avoid spillage, never fill the torch canister while placed inside the Buzzcap. Instead remove the torch canister and place it on a flat surface. The top heat shield unscrews making it easy to fill the canister.
Step 3 - Fill torch canister no more than 3/4 full with clean-burning citronella Tiki Brand Clean Burning Oil
Caution: Overfilling the canister can lead to spillage which can be a fire hazard. Never fill to more than 3/4 full.
Step 4 - Return the torch canister to the BuzzCap
Once the canister is 3/4 of the way full, replace the headshield and place it back into the Buzzcap. It can take up to a minute for the oil to wick up to the top of the wick.
Step 5- Light it up and enjoy your night!
That's it, you are ready to take back your nights from pesky mosquitos.
